Signed copies of DragonArt: Evolution are now available! We got our books this weekend, and are ready to ship out immediately. The book is 144 pages in length, and includes a signature and dragon drawing on the title page of the book. If you would like to order a copy and pay with paypal, simply click the button appropriate to your location. (US, Canada, or International.) Shipping is included in the total price of the paypal button below! Edit: Had to raise the prices due to higher shipping and packaging rates then anticipated! Correct! Any copies purchased from me or through the neondragonart.com store will be signed and drawn in. If you order through barnes and noble or amazon, they will not be, but I think you can get a better price on shipping.

It's a how-to-draw book on dragons (all dragons this time, no other fantasy creatures.) It contains step-by-step units on how to create specific dragons, but also lots of anatomy units on ways to draw jaws, eyes, limbs, wings, horns, scales, ect. When I say that, I mean several ways each. Limbs for example: There's quadruped limbs paw-style, quadruped limbs talon w modified hand style, biped limbs, delicate fae-dragon type limbs, squatter, lizard-like limbs, all with a front set and back set.

There's also little comics inside and lots of side art. Using the limbs as an example, when I show how to draw a set of quadruped paw-limbs, next to those illustrations is a piece of full color side art that show's a full body dragon that uses that style of limb.

Haha! Awesomeness Neon! I have been excited about this for months and now I can get it! I can't wait to see whats inside :3 awesome tutorials no doubt! Gotta say your first book helped me a lot Neon, and when I get my paws on one of these, I'll be close to being as good as you! ^^

I might be recalling badly, but I think you mentioned in the past that you receive more of the profits if we order directly from your website! Is this still the case?

Yes, if you order from me I am both the artist AND the retailer, so I get to double dip on profits! This paypal button and the store itself are the same thing.

I preordered at German Amazon but getting a signed and drawn on copy from you sounds really tempting. Do I need to have Papal or is a Visa Credit card enough? How much would shipping be?

It would be $31 total for an international order (book + shipping). I accept paypal only for international orders. We can't process visa on our own. :-(

You go to the store ( http://neondragonart.com/Store/ ) and order it through there. :-) We'll e-mail you and give you the check/money order information and confirm your order.

Note: I only accept checks within the US, and I do wait for them to clear, so it may take a few days before I ship.

I ordered one! :D I can't wait to get it. I kind of blundered around and couldn't decide whether to order it from the store or the paypal button, but I finally figured it out. I think I put in an accidental order through your store though, how would I go about fixing that?

Haha. I'm not sure what you mean specifically. It's a book about dragons, 144 pages, has Dolosus as the mascot again along with some fun comic strips and a flip book. First half of the book covers dragon anatomy, second half of the book covers some step-by-step units you can follow along with to draw specific types of dragons.

At the very end there's a VERY brief 6 page unit that shows how I color and finish my images, simply because I get a lot of questions about it. I want to emphasize that DragonArt: Evolution is a book on DRAWING dragons, not on coloring in Photoshop. If you want to learn to paint digitally, DO NOT expect this book to teach you everything you need to know about the programs!

I was just wondering if we get any say in the little doodle you do inside the book? I'd really enjoy seeing a dragonized version of my character --if it's not too much of a hassle. Figured there's no harm in asking.

Unfortunately no. I sort of sat down yesterday and made an afternoon of it sketching up 90 books in advance. Sue handles the shipping and the store in general, and I am no longer in Cleveland to be able to sign books. If you ever see me at a con in artist's alley, I'd be happy to personalize a book for you in person!

I just ordered mine! I'm super excited about it because I own the first book on how to draw dragons and it has been really helpful. I do ceramics and usually sculpt dragons out of clay ( I can't draw them to save my life). Your book really helped make my dragons even more realistic and awesome looking! Thank you so much!

I have money but not check

I do not have paypal and I do not have an check writing skills. I only have actual money....I live in the US and it says you only except checks....what should I do? I really want a book signed by you.

I don't accept cash simply because it can be stolen by anyone who gets their hands on the envelope.

If you go to the post office, you can get a postal money order and send that. You go in and tell them how much you'd like the money order to be for ($27.00) and you then hand them cash for the money order. You can then write who the money order is for, and mail it. Only the person's name who is written on the money order may cash it (like a check) and thus it's a lot safer to mail!
