I've had two, truly awful nights of "sleep". Every time I heard the guinea pigs doing their insane frolicking, squeaking, tearing newspaper, or any other noise, I had to get up and see if there were babies popping out. Wen is a wild child, and I worry that she'll trample Leia's babies unknowingly. The babies will be born sometime in the next two weeks. I felt kicking, but I don't know how long it's been going on, so I can't judge how long until Leia's due.

It's my goal to finish this one tonight.


Need an opinion on spot colors. Red or blue?


As for the other mermaids, I've started in on base colors on the dolphin one. She will be a pearly albino mermaid. The beached one I'm still stumped on. Maybe I'll cheap out and just do the entire image in blue and gold since it seems like such a likely combination.
