I'm gonna be wishing I had a gamecube in the not-so-distant-future...

Alas, no cash ^^;; I've been saving up for a while now for the N/A Comics print run. I had a little bit extra because we were actually planning on a bigger more expensive run then we're getting, but all that extra was spent on Christmas presents for the CCAD posse and family unit. Besides, the last thing that I need is more video games to take up time that could be spent on art and comics.

In other exciting news, I have both nice smelling laundry AND a warm apartment. I'm living it up! I've been running my oven to keep the apartment warm the past month, but it really didn't do a good job and the place smelled like gas all the time. The pilot on my ancient heater was finally lit and now I can hear the clink-clinks of it as it expands every time the flames kick in, and contracts as it cools down. It's fun to look over and see a little fire through the vents at night. Kinda soothing ^^;

During Thanksgiving break I was able to get my laundry done at my aunts house. It's amazing how much you can come to appriciate a real washer and dryer. I've been doing my laundry in the bathtub for the past 2 months. This yielded musty smelling clothing that dried crackly. I could crunch my socks ^^; There is no laundry mat near us, I have no car, and the washer-dryer in the basement of my slum are both broken. Even if they did work, running them would probably cause several 2-minute power outages in half of the building as the circuits keep shutting down.

Ah well. I am now happy and smell delicous.

I colored in that little dragon sketch I posted earlier. It turned into a graphic I may use in the corner of my table of contents in my how to draw dragons book. So that it looks like "art" I added in some sparkles and a very boring background. Not my finest, but it's a passable quickie.

I'll probably make a wallpaper out of this. It's good to have a lot of blank space on the left for icons on a wallpaper.


I'm gonna see if I can somehow crank out another page of TimeScapes for Wednesday or Thursday. We'll see. I wish people would vote more... yet I feel really cheap and petty actually ASKING for votes. Ah well.
