Real media is so fun.

A questionaire I snatched from Luka. )

In other news, Northlight books sent me my advance. Now I can finally pay my sister back as well as have the next month of tuition covered. I splurged on a present for myself though. I now have my very own Badger.

Love the badger:

In addition to the airbrush itself, I also bought a small, quiet compressor, some Golden brand liquid acrylic (Very pretty!), 2 jars of powdered pigment, 24 pastel pencils, and an order for 24 Dr. Phillip Martin Spectralight liquid acrylics for airbrush. The picture here shows my 1rst airbrush attempt with mixed media (I did 2 big sheets of paper for test doodles beforehand):

I have great hopes for this little guy. I've been mixing all of my media lately. Pencils, ballpoint, watercolor, markers, acryllic... all in one piece. Spray fix is just about the coolest product ever, even if it does destroy my lungs. Adding the airbrush to the arsinal added some cool results in my test piece.

I also have dreams of an airbushed "NeonDragon" mobile. *sighs wistfully* Someday I will have that car... until then, I shall just contemplate airbrushing my bicycle...

Some art things, and a possessed ND

I was way to happy about the check.

Elemental battle fairy of earth... I've had this sitting around for a while, but I don't know when I'll get around to coloring it.

A moth dragon thingaling (moth because he has fuzzy things on his head!)

I think I'm going to scan in some of my life drawings and post them over in their own little section in Dragon Shadows. I've been holding off for a while because I worried about younger visitors and the naked factor. None of the drawings are pr0n or anything, they're just nudes from my anatomical drawing class, but putting them in their own section with a warning seems safest while still being able to share the artwork. I originally wanted to put them in the "sketch" section, but ah well...
