In other news, Northlight books sent me my advance. Now I can finally pay my sister back as well as have the next month of tuition covered. I splurged on a present for myself though. I now have my very own Badger.
Love the badger:

In addition to the airbrush itself, I also bought a small, quiet compressor, some Golden brand liquid acrylic (Very pretty!), 2 jars of powdered pigment, 24 pastel pencils, and an order for 24 Dr. Phillip Martin Spectralight liquid acrylics for airbrush. The picture here shows my 1rst airbrush attempt with mixed media (I did 2 big sheets of paper for test doodles beforehand):

I have great hopes for this little guy. I've been mixing all of my media lately. Pencils, ballpoint, watercolor, markers, acryllic... all in one piece. Spray fix is just about the coolest product ever, even if it does destroy my lungs. Adding the airbrush to the arsinal added some cool results in my test piece.
I also have dreams of an airbushed "NeonDragon" mobile. *sighs wistfully* Someday I will have that car... until then, I shall just contemplate airbrushing my bicycle...
