My wacom tablet is broken... AGAIN.
This time it's worse then ever. When it broke before I was able to recieve power, it just wouldn't register the pen. Now I can't even get the thing to light up or register as being plugged into the computer. I've tested on several different computers, opened up the back of the sucker and pressed all the cables in, and had nothing happen for all my efforts. I think the tablet must go back to wacom yet again.
>.<
I was on a roll with coloring too. I was planning on finishing the earth fairy and a punk fairy I recently sketched up. I started coloring the punk fairy anyway with nothing but my laptop touchpad. I went with cel style due to the lack of control and it appears to be going ok, though the sucker is taking far to long to finish.
This is really the last thing I needed. School is more hectic then ever. I'm finally getting started on the North Light/Impact work and lack of tabletness is painful. Add the website and commission work I wanted to tackle to the mix and things are just plain stressful.
It's raining, and I can't bike ride unless I want to freeze in the 30 degree weather while soaking wet. One or the other would have been ok, but both will just take away any therepy that the adrenaline rush offers. I can't DDR either as the people below us are mean, horrible, souless things who won't tolerate any noise from anyone around them. (yet they play Evanescence with heavy base at 12AM. Gargggh!!!)
ANYway, I'm hoping for the first half of my advance from North Light soon. Tutition management will be happy because I can pay them, and I will be happy because I can buy a cheapy back-up tablet for when my precious feels sick.
I also plan on using a portion of the money to bribe the weather mistress so that during stressful times I can have some decent biking conditions.
It's a cunning plan, no doubt.
I could always play with my watercolor pencils some more in the meantime, but this will only allow me to get schoolwork done. All of my comic/book things really need to be digital to be effective.
Blarg.
