My PC is doing the "no virtual memory" thing again, so I've probably got 2-3 days before Windows won't even load. (and the only way to fix that is to have Pete wipe it! Unfortuenly I won't be seeing him for over a month!)
I've had it, I'm getting a Gateway notebook. It should be here in a week and a half >.< I almost went Mac. I'm honestly starting to like the darn things, and I'm a PC nazi to the core! Macs are very user friendly (yeah, it's the matra, but it's true!). The only reason I'm going PC again is that all of my expensive art software is PC based and I don't feel like rebuying Photoshop for Mac. I know that there's "virtual PC" but I'd rather wait until MAC comes with thing like that installed into its operating system before I purchase one. Next computer perhaps... My Precious.
I figure after I get my nifty notebook, I'll break this machine up and turn it into a parts monster. The memory, CD drives, mouse, speakers, 19-inch moniter, scanner, and printer are all good. I think my harddrive is corrupted, hence I continue to have problems even after they are "fixed". I'll just by some junky machine with a big harddrive and build myself a beast to operate as my internet/music/storage machine and keep my sleek little notebook for my artwork and other sensitive files.
This next t-shirt sale had better go well, otherwise I don't think I'll have enough money for my tuition! It's gonna be tight until then...
