This weekend I attended Anthrocon as a dealer. This was my first AC and furry convention in general. It was a lot tamer than I expected and my fantasy & monster artwork was very well received even though it was not actually anthropomorphic in nature. (two issues I was worried about!) I will definately consider attending again next year, although AC does fall uncomfortably close to Otakon, and I do not know if it will be possible to attend both.
that was a digimon actually (like there's much difference when you get right down to it) I can't remember the name of that one though, i just know its a fox thing and it is therefore cool.
God that is so fantastic! Thank you so much, its amazing!
It was also great to finally meet you in person, and also watch you work. I'm glad you enjoyed AC and I hope I see you next year, so I can tell all my friends to buy your book, hehe!
Oh wow. You are so good. Gotta love furries, and I think that blue furry one in the back looked vaguely like Suicune, non? And I LOVE the dragon. I love all dragons, but I love yours the most! I want to meet you so much! I'm saving up for adobe photoshop or something like it, I can't wait! I wish I could draw like you! ^U^
I kept meaning to come by your table and say hey, but it was always so busy in that corner! And I only skimmed through the Dealer's Room like, twice. Trying to keep myself from buying a lot of things!
The parade last year was...300-some. Made the Guinness Book, I think? Or AC itself did. I don't recall exactly. But Anthrocon was mentioned in last years book, if I recall.
Haha. I don't know if there was a contest or not, but there were a ton of very impressive elaborate costumes. I cannot imagine how much time and money people spent on them!
My mom is cool :-) Though it wasn't nearly as bad as I expected it would be. The internet lead me to believe it was going to be filled with kinky furry pr0n everywhere. It was pretty much like an anime con. She's used to those :-)

Re: That's so cool.
I agree that it looks like Suicune. Same jewel thing on it's head (and purple mane). Digimon is the yellow one. Lol.Anonymous

What's that book with the blue dragon on the front? Is it a preview of the next one? :3July 10 2009, 03:56:54 UTC 2 years ago
Re: Dawnfrost
That is not a new book. That's a paint kit that's an excerpt from the first book :-)
